Miki Electrical Group Australia Pty Ltd (REC 35681) is an electrical contractor based in Coburg, Victoria. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Who we share it with

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website
• Property managers or agents, where they have referred work or requested a rental safety check
• Energy Safe Victoria or other regulatory bodies, where required by law
• Our accountant, for invoicing and tax purposes

We only share what is necessary for the purpose, and we expect anyone we share it with to handle it with the same care we do.

How long we keep it

We keep records of electrical work for as long as required by Victorian law. Enquiry information that does not lead to a booking is deleted within 12 months. Customer records are kept for the duration of the business relationship and for seven years afterwards, as required for tax and electrical safety records.

Security

We store personal information on our phones, computers and cloud services. Access is limited to Maz and Bry. We use password protection and device encryption. We do not store credit card details.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date
• Ask us to delete information that is no longer needed (subject to legal record-keeping requirements)
